After testing the dogs started to play with each other and they had so much fun. They found one patch with snow and they enjoyed playing in and with the snow. Here are few photos from the day:

Next weekend we will be participating the dog-show in Lahti. The ring is early so we will have to leave really early too. The the owner will be having hands full as both of the dogs are in the ring, and one after another. So some really quick moving will be seen.

Nana will be performing in the ring in our Clubs club show in the beginning of February. After that there aren’t too many dog show until April.

Anne has thought to start with Nana to train some hunting practices in Spring. Nana is so keen in the birds and brings a cold bird so great and such an enthusiasim. I again have thought to participate with Siru for a training exam in Rally-obedience this Spring.

The time surely flies, it has been already a year since Sirus and Jelmers puppies were born.

Early on Saturday morning Kaisa, myself and our doggies headed our car towards Jyväskylä for an International show weekend. We arrived early enough and met Stabyhoun lovers next to the ring. Our Judge Paavo Mattila was on time and we entered in the ring around 1 p.m. There were 9 Stabijs. This time I asked Jenni to take Nana in the ring so I could for once see how Nana moves, and boy she moves fine.She had great results EXC SA JUN1 BB3 and RES-CER. Kaisa had asked me to present Baako in the ring so I took for the first time a male there and we did great with Baako. Siru and I entered the ring and she moved great she got EXC SA. Both of them got superb Judge reports.

After the ring we headed towards the hotel. There all the males were extremely interested in Nana. She was in heat but luckily already on the safe side but we still had to be careful that no accidents would happen. Nana ja Jidmer were playing together as much as possible and having a lot of fun. It was late evening when Anne and myself went to the restaurant to have somehing to eat. When we returned we heard that Siru had arranged a show. She had managed to open a door, after we had left, and started to run up and down the corridors with 3 other Stabyhouns. Kirsi and Kaisa had some program running after them and yes they did manage to catch them in the end.

On Sunday our ring started after all others at around 1.30 p.m. Our Judge came from Switzerland Mr.Pichard Laurent. There were 10 Stabyhouns today in the ring. I was in the ring with different dogs many times as Kaisas males were succesfull and so were my bitches. The judge was very interested on the dogs moves so I had to run there a lot. Even the judge said to mee ohhoh hello again and would you please run with this dog once again. I got huge amount more experience in the ring and that was great. For the First time ever I had an opportunity to present a male. Thank you Kaisa for this, it was great! I have to thank everyone who helped me in and on the side of the ring. What a show it was. Without you all I don’t know what would have happened. Siru and Nana got once again excellent judge reports and here are the results: Siru EXC SA BB3 and Nana EXC SA BB4 and RES-CER. Siru and I enetered the ring once again in the breeders group were we achieved HP and BOB-breeder with an amazing judge report. Congratulations to Anne for a great result!

Next time we are in the ring in few weeks on the Helsinki Winner weekend. There will be also Nanas breeder Bertha who will also show Nana at least on one day.

So the time is flying by. Our little rascal is 4 years old.

We were the First ones after the males. In the ring Nana was very anxious and she performed great. I think I got her performing good and she even enjoyed standing still. The result for Nana was excellent: EXC1, CQ, BB2 and CAC. Its great to continue the shows after these results.

Sami and Nana have started training obedience. This is especially concentrating in hunting. Nana has been keen on birds since she came to our home. So we have decided to train with her everything to do with hunting. Nana has improved in bringing a bird in Samis hand and let in it go. Everytime we see that Nana is showing interest in a bird we try to keep with her a very good contact. When she does as we ask her to we reward her. Few days ago Nana learned to swimm and now she really seems to like it. She fetches objects from the water and brings then straigt to us. This is very good of her.

This Spring Nana has been in many dogshows. She has done really good and got very good judge reports. Considering that she is under a year, in a ring she behaves super and most importantly she really likes to show off. The next big show is the Estonian Winner in the beginning of June. Looking forward to all great new experiences coming along.
